Tennessee GEW Network

This is an open-source WIKI site that you can edit to let the entrepreneur-support community in Tennessee know two (2) things:

1.  A description of the event you're holding during Global Entrepreneurship Week during November 16-22, 2009.

2.  Upcoming events for your organization during the remainder of 2009.

In the future we plan to create a blog site that we can use as a platform to send out press releases for events either sponsored or led by our organizations efficiently with the media across the state of Tennessee as well as the US.

(Also don't forget to to join the TN GEW group on LinkedIn and Facebook.  Please note that you will have to sign into LinkedIn and Facebook to join the groups.  If you are still having trouble, type in "Tennessee Global Entrepreneurship Week" into the search bar in the upper-right hand corner and the group will show up. If you do not have a Linkedin or Facebook account you can sign up for one by clicking here Linkedin  or  Facebook)

Instructions for using this Wiki:

Step 1     Create an account in the upper-right hand corner.

Step 2     Watch the Getting Started video if you want or just set up an account in the upper-right hand corner to get started.

Step 3     Invite colleagues to this workspace.  Just enter their email addresses on the right side of this page.

Step 4     Scroll down and add your information to one of the for sections by clicking the one of the Grand Regions or Statewide Events. Please follow the templete so that it matches the other entries.

Step 5     Create a page for your organization to the right if you want to have a place where you can brainstorm what you will be doing better for your event, other add-ons, or to open some of your proposals to brainstorming.

There is also a Press Release page where you can link to the full Press Releases for your event.  Please list any requests for help or interest in partnering with other organizations on the Request for Help page.  Also, do not forget to add event location to the GEW 2009 Map and Calendar.  There is also a Partner Toolkit Page full of GEW Media Resources your can use to market your events.
